Material Properties-Alumina (Al2O3)
Only the highest quality alumina is employed in the construction of
our products. The alumina content can vary with the particular application
but is normally in the range of 97.6% to 99.5%. High electrical resistivity,
corrosion resistance, good thermal shock resistance, together with a
consistency in its properties and a relatively simple manufacturing
route make alumina the accepted material where high performance, reliability
and strength are crucial. |
