Vacuum Breaks
The largest diameter isolators, or vacuum breaks, can be supplied with
a variety of stainless steel flanges or with 42% nickel-iron tubes for
customers to weld into their own flanges. In addition, vacuum breaks with
non-standard rotatable flanges can be supplied to facilitate flange alignment
during assembly into user's equipment. All isolators shown are U.H.V.
compatible and can be repeatedly baked at temperatures up to 450°C.
Heat sink isolators
The excellent thermal and shock properties of alumina ceramic make it
ideal for applications where rapid heat transfer is required through an
electrically insulating barrier. Copper conductors brazed onto each side
of an alumina disc allow for effective heat transfer, while maintaining
voltage differential.
